The Senior Thesis is an opportunity for students to pull together their years of education at DePaul by producing a meaningful project which they design, research and implement independently of a classroom structure. It allows students to work with two faculty members from different disciplines on a topic they wish to explore deeply and to which they want to make a scholarly contribution. The project can take many forms, but it is always a work that builds on students' gathered expertise and asks them to translate that expertise into new contexts.
We have included information for faculty who are interested in being a Thesis Director or Reader, and a listing of recent Honors Thesis Directors and Readers.
Specific requirements and all details are included in the Honors Senior Thesis Packet.
