​To celebrate student creativity and scholarship, the Honors Program provides several platforms for students to showcase their original works. 

Submit your creative works to be published on the Honors Blog, or explore opportunities to write, design, and edit for our award-winning quarterly newsletter, ​Honorable Mentions​​.  ​

Honorable Mentions is our Honors Program's award-winning student newsletter.  Each quarter, the student editors of Honorable Mentions review and publish the original submissions, current-event reportings, and creative works of Honors students.

Honorable Mentions has been recognized for its excellence several times by NCHC* through its national newsletter contest. Honorable Mentions received the following awards in the "Student-Produced - Electronic" category:

*The National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC) is the professional association of undergraduate honors programs and colleges, honors directors and deans, and honors faculty, staff and students. NCHC is a national organization with over 900 affiliated honors programs and honors colleges from across the country.

The Honors Blog​

The student-run Honors Blog serves to keep students updated on Honors events and opportunities, while also providing a platform to display student work. The Honors Blog regularly seeks submissions such as creative writings, original artwork, and student reflections on DePaul opportunities, Honors classes, and current events.
