Academics: the Heart of Honors
Central to DePaul University’s Honors Program is our challenging liberal arts curriculum. To help students grow as global citizens and capable leaders, the Honors Program provides a curriculum that encourages critical thinking and self-reflection, and that inspires students to broaden their perspectives beyond their major. Honors courses are characterized by small, seminar-style classes limited to twenty students. By keeping class sizes small, Honors students can dive deep into topics that inspire them while being supported by a close-knit community of high-achieving students and dedicated faculty trained in innovative pedagogy.
