Alderden and collaborators aim to to stop violence before it escalates

Megan Alderden, director of DePaul’s criminology program, along with colleagues from the University of Illinois Chicago, are leveraging funding from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to design a training curriculum to help community members and professionals recognize sources of potential biases and support the implementation of multidisciplinary teams to help identify and respond to persons displaying concerning behaviors.  Read more here​.​​
