Roadmap for Externally Funded Projects

DePaul has numerous resources available to aid your efforts in finding, applying for, and managing external funding to support your research, programmatic, pedagogical or other creative activities. This site includes the categories to identify steps in the grants process and includes links to the various departments and resources dedicated to helping DePaul faculty and staff navigate this work.

Office of Research Services

The Office of Research Services (ORS) promotes, facilitates, and supports research, scholarship, teaching, and creative activities that are conducted by DePaul University faculty, students, and staff. For more information, visit the ORS website.

University Research Council

DePaul offers ten internal research grant programs with two application deadlines, one in fall (October 15th) and one in spring (March 15th). Many of these programs aim to encourage teams of faculty from across academic units to engage in interdisciplinary investigations of research problems, support the efforts of faculty to enhance their research through engagement with an international partner institution or faculty member, and provide support for equipment and research related conferences. For more details on these grant programs, including funding levels, see the Academic Affairs webpage.

Scholarly Communication

Via Sapientiae is the institutional repository that supports DePaul's goal of academic enhancement by collecting, organizing, and providing open access to scholarly works produced by the University's faculty, staff, centers, institutes, and students.
