Faculty interested in submitting a proposal for First-Year Program consideration should review
the information and deadlines here. Questions specific to the FYP proposal process can be sent to
Michael Edwards (x51187).
Faculty interested in submitting a proposal for Liberal Studies Program consideration should review the learning outcomes and writing expectations for the appropriate LSP area. Please visit the
about section of the website, to learn more about the LSP
Common Core and
Learning Domain areas.
All aspects of the proposal process (including Chair/Associate Dean approval and any re-submissions) must be completed prior to the deadline. We strongly recommend allowing at least a week or two for the Chair/Associate Dean approval to occur. The proposal requires Chair/Associate Dean approval before the advisory committee will receive it. Once the proposal is received by the deadline, the advisory committee will review and send a decision to the proposer by the end of the quarter in which it was proposed.
