Students in the Honors Program should think about competing for scholarships as part of their total academic experience. While the Honors Program does not offer any scholarships or financial aid, we do post outside scholarships as they are made known to us. Please contact the appropriate persons/organizations listed if you have any questions.
The most prestigious scholarships, such as the Fullbright, Rhodes, and Truman, are highly competitive. Almost all require nomination by DePaul and several require an evaluation by a campus faculty committee; therefore it is important to start preparing for this process well in advance of the application deadlines.
Applications are submitted by the campus faculty representative, Professor Phillip Stalley of the Political Science Department. His office is located at 990 W. Fullerton, Room 2206. His phone number is: 773-325-4179; his e-mail is: firstname.lastname@example.org
Given the degree of competition for these programs, students are strongly urged to contact Prof. Stalley before the application cycle in order to enhance their credentials and to begin working on their applications early in the application cycle for any of the scholarships.
