Freshman Ben Stumpe gives the recent Student Faculty Dinner at Mo's Asian Bistro two thumbs up!
All first year Honors Program students take either a Discover or Explore Chicago Quarter class their first quarter at DePaul. These courses allow the students to get acclimated to college life in general, and to Chicago, based on a specific theme.

The students in Communication Professor Jason Martin's Free Speech and Free Press Discover class explored the city through that lens. The students’ multimedia interactive storymap that captures Immersion Week projects are available for viewing here.

Environmental Sciences Professor Jim Montgomery teaches a Discover section entitled Chicago: City on the Lake. Here is a link to a video his student mentor created: https://vimeo.com/111536658.

Students seeking a more challenging experience should consider applying for the University Honors Program. This program, designed for the well-prepared student, incorporates a structured series of specifically designed courses taken in sequence throughout the student's four years at DePaul. Students who complete the University Honors Program will be exceptionally prepared for graduate and professional study.

Information on the Honors curriculum, requirements, and opportunities can be found in the Honors Student Handbook.
